Mathematics Transfer Major, AS - Academic Plan

The purpose of a statewide articulation agreement is to identify the courses a student at a Colorado public community college must complete as part of an AA/AS degree to be guaranteed to be able to complete the designated baccalaureate degree program at any public four-year college and university (hereafter referred to as receiving institutions) that offers that program within the minimum number of credits designated by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education.

Program Outcomes

  • *This course requires college level readiness as measured by Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT scores; approved high school course work that is less than five years old; or successful completion of appropriate college-readiness course.
  • AAA 1001  – College 101: Student Experience is required for all new college students seeking degrees or transfer.
  • Course availability is subject to change.
  • CSC 1060  has a prerequisite of CSC 1019 . CSC 1019  can be taken as an elective course.
  • CSU-Ft.Collins requires a different computer science course than the community college course. Students should seek advising at CSU-FC for information on the appropriate computer science course to take.
  • Electives: Select any Guaranteed Transfer course or any of the following (excluding Special Topics, Independent Study, Capstone, and Internships): AAA 1001 , AAA 1009 , AST (1000 or higher), BIO (1000 or higher), CHE (1000 or higher), CIS 1018 CSC 1019 , CSC 1026 , CSC 1060 , CSC 1061 , CSC 2065 , CSC 2000 ,CSC 2025 , CSC 2033 , CSC 2036 , CSC 2040 , EGG (1000 or higher), any Foreign Language courses (including ASL) numbered 1011 or higher, HNR 1000 , HNR 2089 , HWE 1050 , HWE 1062 , HWE 1065 MAT 1340  (or higher, except MAT 1220  / MAT 1230 ), or PHY 1111  (or higher).

  • In order to meet program requirements, students registered for ENG 1021  or ENG 1031  must also register for ENG 0094  unless they can demonstrate otherwise meeting the ENG 0094  standard through assessment testing, prior college coursework, or recent High School coursework.
