Total Credits = 61
The Cosmetology and Salon Management AAS Degree offers a solid foundation for students to start a career in a salon or to prepare them for one day opening their own salon. Students with a completed certificate in cosmetology from Arapahoe Community College, or who have a Colorado State Cosmetology License, can complete an additional 31 credits and earn their Associates of Applied Science (AAS) degree.

Program Outcomes
- Demonstrate the ability to write properly structured and organized business documents.
- Examine a business problem and design a course of action.
- Demonstrate the use of correct business terms.
- Develop plan for salon or cosmetology business.

- AAA 1001 – College 101: Student Experience is required for all new college students seeking degrees or transfer.
