The purpose of a statewide articulation agreement is to identify the courses a student at a Colorado public community college must complete as part of an AA/AS degree to be guaranteed to be able to complete the designated baccalaureate degree program at any public four-year college and university (hereafter referred to as receiving institutions) that offers that program within the minimum number of credits designated by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education.

Program Outcomes
- Formulate and engage in oral communication in Spanish at intermediate level.
- Deliver oral presentations in a coherent fashion in Spanish at intermediate level.
- Formulate written grammatically correct sentences and paragraphs in Spanish at intermediate level.
- Demonstrate cultural understanding of the Hispanic and Spanish cultures and appreciation of diversity.

Notes
- *This course requires college level readiness as measured by Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT scores; approved high school course work that is less than five years old; or successful completion of appropriate college-readiness course.
- AAA 1001 – College 101: Student Experience is required for all new college students seeking degrees or transfer.
- Course availability is subject to change.
- Electives: Select from any GT course, AAA 1001 , AAA 1009 , ACC 1021 , ACC 1022 , BUS 1015 , BUS 2016 , BUS 2017 , BUS 2026 , CIS 1018 , COM 1150 , COM 2220 , CSC 1060 , CSC 1061 , ENG 1031 (or higher), HNR 1000 , HNR 2089 , HWE 1060 , MAT 1240 (or higher), any of the following Foreign Language courses (including ASL) numbered 1011 or higher, or any course in the following prefixes except Special Topics, Independent Study, Capstone, and Internships: ANT, ART, BIO (1000 or above), CHE, HIS, HUM, LIT, MUS, PED, PHI, PHY (1000 or above), POS, PSY, SOC.

- In order to meet program requirements, students registered for ENG 1021 or ENG 1031 must also register for ENG 0094 unless they can demonstrate otherwise meeting the ENG 0094 standard through assessment testing, prior college coursework, or recent High School coursework. See an Advisor for details.
- Recommended courses are listed above for certain electives; consult with the Academic Advising Office (advising@arapahoe.edu or 303.797.5664) or the World Languages Department for additional elective recommendations.
- Refer to 2023/2024 catalog for specific requirements and important information about this degree.
- SPA 1011 and / or SPA 1012 may be waived, based on a student’s proficiency level. Should these courses be waived, students would be required to complete additional credits of electives to ensure completion of a minimum of 60 credits for the degree.
- SPA 2011 /SPA 2012 Those students who have a higher proficiency level than is required for SPA 2011 /SPA 2012 should substitute other Arts/Humanities courses.
