MOT 2040 - Advanced Insurance Billing and Coding

Prepares the student to code correctly to optimize reimbursements for a full range of medical services by applying data to claim forms using official coding guidelines to eliminate insurance fraud and abuse. Note: This course was previously listed as MOT 131.

Prerequisite(s): HPR 1040 or HPR 178 and MOT 1040 with a grade of “C” or better
