MLT 2032 - Parasitology/Mycology
2 Credits
Provides the student with an introduction to basic laboratory identification and classification of medically significant isolates in parasitology and mycology. Laboratory safety, specimen selection, processing, isolation, and identification methods will be covered. Epidemiology and pathogenesis of mycosis and parasitic infections will be emphasized. Note: This course was previously listed as MLT 232.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 2101 or BIO 2102 with a grade of “C” or better
