BIO 1015 - Human Genetics 3 Credits
Focuses on the inheritance of human traits. It is a nonmathematical study for the non-science major. Topics include Mendelian, non-Mendelian, and sex-linked inheritance; role of mutations in the evolutionary process; as well as inherited diseases and the ethics of genetic technologies. Note: This course was previously listed as BIO 115.
